Sifu Paul Gruschow is a role model and mentor for his students and staff of the Rochester Kung Fu & fitness. Sifu Gruschow leads by example and is an inspiration for all who attend the academy. His dedication to his students is unsurpassed and he brings out the very best in every student. Sifu Gruschow is able to bring this extremely high quality of instruction to both his staff and students simply because he cares. It is his goal to make every student surpass their own expectations not only physically but characteristically as well. Sifu Gruschow believes in order to be a effective teacher you can not just preach about "Black Belt Excellence" but you must live it as well. This is evident because not only is he our Chief Instructor but he is also a student himself. This means that he is working everyday to improve his skills as a martial artist, role model, mentor and leader to his students and community.
Sifu Gruschow is a direct student and instructor under Grand Master Raymond Fogg. Grand Master Raymond Fogg is one of the world's foremost Masters of the Seven Star Praying Mantis System. Master Fogg headed the United States Kung Fu Exchange Federation in the early 1970's. The Kung Fu Exchange is said to house some of the world's best Masters and Sifu's of 7- Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu.
Becoming a student of the Rochester Kung Fu & Fitness allows you to become a member of this amazing organization and gives you the opportunity to train with these top masters. Sifu Gruschow sits on the bored of the United States Kung Fu Exchange Federation and any rankings his students receive are recognized through the Federation and Master Fogg himself.
